As we know Capitol punishment has been around since mankind, many countries nowdays abolished this to a more "human" solution also know as: "life sentence".
Do you think capitol punishment works? if yes, which methods are "human"?
Does capitol punishment really deter wrong-doers?
If not, what would be a good solution?

well, I think it is an easier way out for the criminal, yes, they lose their life, but they would've been in prison for the rest of it anyway. But this way they dont have to spend the rest of their life, feeling guilty and thinking about what they did and the effects it had on the victim(s) and the family(ies). I mean I can understand why they do it, but I think they should spend the rest of their life thinking about what they did.

I see what you're saying.
I know alot of people think of it as "their tax money" that goes to waste on these criminals.
I think In the long run a life sentence is alot more punishing .like you said they have alot of time to think day after day what they have done, specially if they have a faimly on the outside....not getting to see your children grow, get married etc.
