Are you afraid of the dark?

Okay, let's be honest. Are you afraid of the dark, or aren't you?
I must cowardly admit, I AM!
I used to be really bad at my former home because someone had committed suicide in it before we had lived there! I would be terrified when my husband would leave in the early morning. It would be dark, and I would always think I saw or heard someone in my house. I was terrified! By the time daylight shone though, I would be fine.
I was greatful when we found a new home, although I still hold my fear. I can't really say why I am afraid, I just am.
So here is your chance to tell all, are you afraid of the dark or not?

Yes I am totally afraid of the dark!! I don't like to go outside at all after dark, even to take the trash out, I get so scared. I don't know why I am just silly I guess!!

i have to admit i sorta am....not too bad though, but in a little sense i am. i'm not bad in the house. but we move a lot, so with every new place, it takes me a long while to get used to the dark there. don't really like it outside when it's dark...lots of stuff happens in the dark...and i have to go to sleep with the tv on, have to have some kind of noise and light...nightlights don't work, the orangish glare from them used to give me nightmares about fires when i was a kid...that's a whole other story, haha. oh my, i know, i got issues!! lol!! i'm surprised my hubby puts up with my antics, lol!!!!!

Im not all afraid of dark.My friends says Im very brave(Not boasting).But I have a friend of mine who sleeps in his room with the lights on.He will never sit in his room alone if the light goes off in the night.Either will call one of us to his room or will go to somebody else's room.He never goes out of hostel with out anyone being with him after 7 in night.

When I lived out on a farm in the country, I must admit that I was indeed afraid of the dark. I am not sure if it was the dark as much as it was just being alone. However, now that I am in the city I do not usually feel the same way. It must be because it is always so busy around.

Yes i am afraid of dark i think generally everybody will be afraid of dark. But, i will try to avoid that dark by serarching it for a light by which we can through dark and enter in to the light. Light means knowledge,wisdom etc.

Yeah me too...I used to be so terrified of the dark that I had to call my parents down the building at nights to accompany me up the stairs cos I was sure I would be jumped by some mangy looking freak with a mutilated head and smelly body...whatever point is yeah I freak out in the dark.I.e until I realised it all goes away when I am drunk;)

I am afraid of the dark too.I can stay at a lonely or faraway place alone,only if it is well lit.In darkness,my heart starts beating faster and I feel very scared and then even the slightest of sound can make me scream.Lol.I feel funny afterwards,but that's the way I feel in total darkness.

I'am not Scared when Im in the House and it's Dark But let me outside in the Dark and I get Scared very Easy where I live there are Plenty of Woods and I hear all kinds of Animals walking around and Making funny noises Which is really scary If you ever heard a Deer Scream you would jump out of your skin and Run for sure..lol
