to love by your heart or by your mind?

both... you love with your heart and mind. it may be difficult for some though.. we are taught to not let our heart rule our heads and then we are also told not to let our head rule our hearts. then, we end up in a pattern of learned helplessness in the face of love and believe we can only find ourselves in this significant other. we may try and apply logic, reason and detachment to this difficult emotional situation.. in so doing, we risk and forget certainty, consideration, community, faith, hope and love which also have a part to play in affairs of the heart.. it is important to balance both... =)

such a question is invalid for those who know that love is most reasonable of our feelings. when love is reasonable it involves ur mind and heart but for such a feeling u need a clear conscience. then only ur mind a heart work in unison and u know ur true self and also u realise ur love the maximum that way.

I think it's better if you use both mind and heart, I guess that's the perfect blend to make you happy. To love with your heart alone sometimes lead you to regret and if you let using only your mind I'm sure you won't be happy because there's no love involve but personal interest.

i love by my heart. love is just love. but marriage is not only love, so i will marry a man by my mind. but now i'm ready to marry my boyfriend, although he earns too little, sometimes when you love a man, then money is not important at all. different people has different thinking, so i don't know other thinking, how about you?

You should love by your mind because that will make you avoid heartbreaks while you should also love by your heart because that will make you happy... Both have their points. Well for me, I guess it's not a matter of which is which... It's about balancing the two..

GOd created the mind is upper part and the heart locates to under to it. it means think first before you use your heart.. in reality.. If you really use your mind.. you will choose the one you think you will happy with..
