everyone has a few notions bout life... n ethics too... can there exist an individual philosophy or should v follow the ones written in books?

I think individual philosophies are defined by the events around us that shape them. Sure, books give a good read or ideas which we can follow but philopsophies in books are not tailor-made for people across cultures. I think you should just follow what you think is right.
