Will Plushenko return to the ice-rink for 2008?

I haven't seen Evgeni Plushenko competing in world championships since 2004. I wonder if he will come back for the world championships in 2008?

Seems to me that the Russians come and go regularly. I would not be surprised to see him back, however maybe the new marking system doesn't suit him. It certainly changes things up... meaning those who used to use their quads to win (like Plushenko) really need to become more all-around skaters like Jeff Buttle perhaps.
