Can you show me proof?

In quite a few discussions you see someone asking if you can show proof of this, that or another. Usually it's been for paid to programs but I have seen it in relation to other things. With this in mind, I wonder just how many of them ask the question in the cartoon shown in the link below. I am listing it as a link so the originator can get credit, lol. http://65.55.138.121/att/GetAttachment.aspx?file=d45c48c4-f1c5-4347-9263-891bbcb0eac1&ct=aW1hZ2UvZ2lm&name=QVRUMDAwMDU_3d&inline=1&rfc=0&empty=False&dialog=1&hm__login=paid_reader&hm__domain=hotmail.com&ip=10.1.106.107&d=d1772&mf=0&hm__ts=Tue%2c%2005%20Jun%202007%2018%3a47%3a39%20GMT&hm__ha=2b80805846c6879432cb583b2311d1e4ad18ec15&oneredir=1 Please leave your comments AFTER checking out the cartoon. :)

In a similar vein, Monday I was doing my shift at the policing centre. There were a few doughnuts left from Saturday. I was eating one when the office coordinator came in. He asked if they were "still good". I replied, "Define 'good' ." (They were a little dry, but edible.)

It's a great cartoon! Some mornings I could be giving that kind of an answer, at work. I'll keep that in mind! =)
