I just got back from my local walmart store and they have remodeled the whole store. Its looks great but I cant find anything.LOL It took me so long today just to buy 3 items. I was really hopeing for a super walmart. But no our township wont allow it. Im so glad Im moving out of here. I would love to do my grocery shopping there too. Get it all done in one store. So I thought I would share this nice informations with you. So tell me do you have a super walmart? I hope I dont jealous.

The WalMart closest to us is not a super... we don't really have them around here yet either... but it does have a decent food section already and I always find items there that are less expensive than the supermarket price. Plus, I can find specific items that I can't manage to get elsewhere. Example of something that should have been sooooo simple... I wanted pre-made, frozen sirloin burgers (only sirloin, no fillers or anything, to meet the requirements of the south beach diet). I looked in so many stores and everything had added bread crumbs and such. Sure enough, checked WalMart and they had exactly what I needed, for less than the cost of the inappropriate ones I'd found elsewhere. I like shopping there... or at least I will until they move everything around and I can't find anything either!! LOL I empathize with you, TerryZ... I hate when that happens because I don't need any more opportunities to wander around aimlessly, finding more things to buy *grin*

Yes, we do. It is nice, but only till you get to the checkout. You might as well plan on about a half an hour to get checked out. I hate going for 1 or 2 items, most of the time they don't have any speedy checkouts.

well there was one where i used to work which is like 20 min. away, so i don't go since there's a walmart just 5 min. away, if i need cheap grocery items i go to winco which is here in my town and it's so cheap. but a super walmart does sound convenient. i hated when they remodeled the walmart near my house, i was in the same boat walking around trying to figure out where everything was!

We don't have walmart but we have other supermarkets that are pretty organized and things are easy to find. An hour for 3 items is a very long time. Im usually in and out in a hurry I have never spent more then half an hour in a supermarket before.

Hey dear... well they re-did my walmart not that long ago. Let me tell you I was lost! It was nuts. One point I just went there for some kind of hardware item but could not even find the area at all. Since there is only a walmart and lowes in town I dont have much of a choice to do things... so after hours I go to walmart for things like that. But we do have a super walmart. It is ok but nothing to get too excited about.

Here in Minnesota we do have super stores of Walmart and Target. Now my grocery store is remodeling and it's frustrating to shop there as it's open 24 hours so it's non-stop. Hahaha.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I love shopping at Walmart. We don't have a super Walmart that is as close as I would like it to be yet. The nearest supercenter Walmart is 26 miles away. My husband and I go there about once a month. On the trips which we make to the regular Walmart which is only 11 miles away we pick up the odd ball things. Even the regular one does have some food and refrigerated items. So it isn't too bad. They are building a supercenter Walmart that is down the road from Walmart and one of the gals that works there said that soon as it is built they will be closing that one and the employees will be transfered to the supercenter. She said she is excited about it. I will be glad when they get it done. Than that will be the only store I will need to shop at.
