One year my fiancee and I made our anniversary dinner together. I made the pasta while she made the sauce. It was a nice way to spend our anniversary together.
Take about half a pound of angel hair pasta and cook according to the package. Drain well. In a good size skillet take about three tablespoons of olive oil and heat, add three cloves of chopped garlic and saute for about a minute or until its a nice pretty golden color. Then add two cans of diced tomatoes (drained), one tablespoon of fresh oregano (chopped), the juice of one lemon, salt, and pepper. Lower the heat and saute for about five minutes. Add one pound of shrimp that has been peeled and deveined. Cook until just pink. Add pasta and toss. This should be served right away.

Does he love pasta? If so, i am sharing with you my favorite recipe.
Tuna Carbonara
Ing:
1 kilo San Remo (penne) noodles
4 cans of century tuna (whole in water) drained
1 can of Narcissus button mushroom (sliced thinly)
1 can Alpine evaporated milk (big)
2 cans of Nestle Cream (big)
1/2 bar of Anchor butter
1/2 bar of Eden cheese
2 knorr beef cubes
minced garlic
chopped onion
white pepper to taste
Procedure:
Cook the noodle according to package direction, set aside. In a wok, melt the butter in low fire, saute garlic and onion, add the mushroom and drained tuna together with the knorr cubes. This time you increase the fire and simmer for at least 10 minute while stirring. Add the alpine milk and the nestle cream followed by the cheese, stir constantly until slightly thicken add white ground pepper to taste. put off the fire, your carbonara sauce is done. Serve the noodles on a nice plate topped with the sauce. This will go great with your favorite garlic bread from french baker. Goodluck, happy cooking and Happy Anniversary.
