Do you put a lot of effort into your profile page? Why/Why not?

I just thought it would be natural to put lots of effort into my profile page (the html part is still under construction), but I notice that most people here have put little or no effort into modifying their profile pages.
Is it because it's not important?
Is it because they just don't know how?
Are people just too lazy?
I figure it says a lot about the kind of person you are, and whether you care about little things like that. Your thoughts?

I would suggest practicing a bit with picking out the colors, just to get the hang of getting just the color you want. Then, put some thought into a color scheme (as said earlier, too many people choose awful, blaring colors) and apply the colors to your profile thoughtfully. If you experiment enough, you'll learn it before you know it.
I wouldn't suggest learning HTML just for this, but it is a useful skill, so if you have any other uses for it, you should definitely consider learning that.

A combination of lazyness and time. I'm really only here partipate in the discussions so have not got around to doing much with my profile page. Maybe I will someday.

You cannot judge a person based on their profile page. I do no do it because I do not have the time to do so. Besides, I am here to learn things from discussions and contribute if any, time spent more worthwhile. For making friends or creating a profile, I have friendster for that
