What do you feel about people cutting in your line?

Queing in line - Wait your turn...!

I absolutely hate when people cut my line. I think it's totally rude especially when I've been waiting a lifetime lining up. There are a lot of bad manners that I can still tolerate, like not holding the door for you, or saying thank you. But I just can't stand people jumping queues! There have been one or two people that I have already snapped at because of this. What's your take on this matter? Do you just let it slide or do you say something about it?

This is one of the rudest things out there. I am ashamed to admit it, but I usually let it slide. Just more of my evidence of being too meek and letting people take advantage. I am learning that the more you let people get away with, the more they take advantage. :( cheers,

Aww.. you shouldn't feel bad. Maybe you can practice your rights if it does happen to you again! Next time, don't let them think it's ok to do so. You don't have to shout and yell and make a scene. But if you're uncomfortable about it, just say so. What I do is just tell them to move to the back or just say, "you cut my line". Because some people honestly make a mistake and we wouldn't wanna shout at them, do we? But at least they'll know that cutting line is just not cool~! ;)

this sort of just happened to me just now. it was my turn and suddenly this lady behind me shouted HER order over my shoulder. I glared at her, told her to wait her turn, and told the person at the counter to ignore that order and take down my order first. ARgh!!

Whoaaa, that was just totally rude!! I would have told her off right there and then! Luckily the guy behind the counter didn't take her order, or else that would really make me flip! Some people.... *sigh* Owh, sorry for the late reply! :)

i can't stand people doing this. i don't even understand why they love cutting through lines when they already have seen a long line of people. i mean, why won't they even feel ashamed of cutting through? they are lazy! and rude. most of the time, when i see people do this, i go to them and ask them politely to go at the end of the line. after all, that's where we all started...anne

Yeah, I really can't understand it myself~! And what really makes me more annoyed is when I tell them that they cut the line, they act as if they have no clue what I'm talking about and stay put where they are~! *sigh* Btw, sorry for the late reply.. :)

I will lose temper when people smoke in the public, such as in the bus and the lift. I will also be mad to people who cut my line. It's a very rude behavior. I seldom will speak to the stranger in public, but in that case I can't help taking to this one and tell him to follow the line. I just can't stand it. There is only one exception. For example, if there is a long line in the hospital to pay for the bills. And an old man or woman cut my line, and anyway it's OK. After all, they are old and I don't want to argue with them. Especially they are old, and they can have some rights in my opinion.

Awww.. that is sweet. And you're right about that. Old people who could hardly walk shouldn't be told to wait in a long queue. If that were the case, I would even offer my spot in the line. But that's it~!! :P Thanks for sharing youless!

Haha..!! Yeah, women can be like that but then again, we're just fighting for our rights~! As women, we don't like being taken for granted just because we're supposed to be meek and gentle! Well, good for your gf~! I'd just snap but wouldn't make sure they go to the back.. Maybe I should!

I hate it with a passion. A couple of weeks ago I was lining up to get smokes. My husband rang me on the mobile at this time. While I was talking to him, people thought it was ok to push in front of me. I said in a loud voice to my husband, I have to go because people are being rude and pushing in front of me. I had some people look at me in shock but they still did not go behind me like they should have.

Yes I absolutely hate that. I remember one time on a hot summer day, I was at a park queuing up for a drink with friends, and the line was ridiculously long. Then a person just pretend that he knew someone there and jumped in the line. I observed him for a little bit and asked him politely to queue up and he ignored me! I was so mad that I started yelling at him (because of the hot weather too), and then he was so shameful that he had to queue up. I can't stand those people, I mean what makes them think that their time worth a million when others' time is precious too!

Yes! I hate this. I find it so rude, and nasty to just cut a line. I mean, don't they have any consideration for the other people that have been waiting?! I dont understand that. I have never actually said anything to anyone about it, however I have mumbled under my breath or said stuff to my hubby if he was with me. It irritates me big time!
