A couple of suggestions for people who are entering the banner contest

1. Read the rules first. If you've made a banner and posted it in a discussion, it won't count. You have to actually upload the image directly to the interest category.
2. Have someone proofread your banner for spelling errors. I've seen so many that were great except for the errors. I doubt they'll pay for mis-spelled banners. (though who knows, I could be wrong on this one.)
3. Include some reference to myLot. I mean, there are a couple that are interesting pictures and all, but they're not banners for myLot if they have nothing to do with this site.

Hello bungirl. Are you planning to join the banner contest? I don't have any intention of joining since I'm really poor with this computer thingy. Uploading pictures and creating a unique banner is not something I'm really good at. I'm sure your discussion will benefit a lot of mylotters who will try their hands on this latest contest.

Hmm this is interesting
So the more banners you post the more banners you will have selected and paid for right

Good tips BunGirl especially the one about getting someone to proofread the banners before submission. Quite a few of the banners that have been submitted were clearly not checked - I doubt myLot will pick them as winners.
