Staying home or going back to work after having a baby

Im a staying at home wife and used to be mom. I decided to stay home because when I was growing up, my mom stay home and it was realy nice when you come home and someone at the door waiting for me. My hubby's is from single parent home and him and his brothers didnt have much time with his mom so I wanted to be home when he get home from work.
