If the stipulation in voting for the MVP just simply identifies who steers his team best in the Finals...then Lebron is hand-down the finals MVP, no doubt. The Cavs are like the Heat of last year where the only life of the team came literally from one person, Dwyane Wade. That's exactly how the Cavs would be playing this Finals series. But a finals MVP would be coming from the champion team, that's league rules, and (though i hate to say it)the Cavs have a slim chance to put the Spurs down. Unless Parker or Ginobili put up super performances throughout the series, Duncan will be the Finals MVP.

We all know that Season MVP is Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks. Now, with the NBA Finals fast approaching, two days to be exact. We will be crowning new NBA Champions for 2007, and how can we forget about the NBA FINALS MVP award.
San Antonio is a team with great players. And there are a couple of players who could win that prestigious award, that is if San Antonio will win. Just to name a few, Ginobili, Parker and Duncan, but with Duncan standing out among the rest really.
On the other hand, there is practically one name that could win it, LeBron James. He is the heart and soul of that team. Through him practically run Cleveland's offense and defense. So most likely, rather most definitely, LeBron James will be FINALS MVP if the Cleveland Cavaliers will be on top.
Personally, I am cheering for the Cavs. So my Finals MVP will be LeBron James.

After viewing game 3, I remember thinking "James should be given some honorary MVP award or something". I thought that b/c: he is the back bone of that team, he scored 48 points, and it is mostly b/c of him that they are even in the finals.
Last night was the first time in this series that the rest of the team give him some real support, to little to late.........

I think Timmy deserves to be the MVP. He has been solid on both offense and defense. I like him most because he is not a showoff or a showtime type player. Most people are rooting for the Cavs now. The odds are against them and betting on their side could win you much more than betting on Spurs.

I think Lebron James should be names MVP in NBA. It's obvious, He is the major contributor in the cavs, not just scoring, passing and rebounding. He carried the cavs to their first NBA final for the first time in over ten years. His desire and dedication to the game can be compare to michael jordan time. I bet Cavs will win the series against Spurs 4-2
