Well i went to see a couple of flats today, the first one i walked in and straight away i didnt like it, it was very small and dirty, the second one was a studio flat i walked in and there were loads of stairs to climb before i got to the top floor i walked into the room and my first impression was its nice it was a studio flat, i looked in the bathroom and said "wheres the shower?" then my friend who came with me said its there well the shower was in the room not in the bathroom so if i had a friend round i wouldnt be able to have a shower or they would see me, so then i looked and thought wheres the kitchen then the woman showing me round said we cant put a kitchen in here as you dont have to pay council tax or water rates so you will have to share the kitchen downstairs thats when i though i dont like the sound of that, we went downstairs into the kitchen and i thought then no way am i living here it was dirty and we had to share washing machines which didnt look nice, i could tell a woman doesnt go in that kitchen lol so i have had no luck today house hunting lol so i will carry on the search and hope for the best.

don't settle for second best pal , don't go for somewhere you won't be happy , there will be a day you will walk in somewhere and say " Yes" this is where I want to stay , I would go for a lot of stairs because I know someone who when she comes to visit with her wee dog could well fall down all of those stairs knowing her lol , keep looking sweetheart , you will find what you want and you will be really happy there , good luck and God Bless xx

I don't think I would've chosen either one of those places myself. If the landlord/landlady can't even clean the place up and make it presentable to possible tenants, I think that gives a pretty good idea of how they will be if there are any unforseen problems that arise. Don't fret hon, you'll find something you like. Just keep going with your hunches and don't let anyone rush you into making any decisions. If they do, threaten to send Gissi after them! (He can chew up their ankles! LOL)

eeewww that studio flat sounds disgusting. i would never have a flat where i have to share facilities with others. dont rush into accepting a place that your not going to like. take your time mel and in the end you will find a nice flat/house to live
