which god? why thank him?

Me, i always thank God.When i wake up i thank him for a wonderful morning and another day for my life, when i take a bath, i thank him for the water i bathe,when i eat, i thank him for the food and graces i received, when i go to work, i thank him for a good health, when i go to sleep i thank him again for wonderful day that had ended. In a day i had always thank him for He is such a wonderful God, and i make it sure that i will never fail to thank him always. Today also i thank him for the friends i encounter from different parts of the world.

I love your posting and am thankful you did this. I thanked Him. I do daily. Too many of us only ask Him for things in time of need, and get mad at Him for things we do not understand. He is good, and He is loving. We need to always be thankful for everything.

I sure did. He is the reason for my being so I am thank him every day. I am having a tough time now, and I thank him for the tough time because I know he will bring me out and I will be stronger.

if there was a god, he wouldn't want to be thanked and because of this, there is no need to thank him

Each bit of our day's happenings is due to the mercy and love of God. Any thing could have happened any time, but he is protecting you all the time. In this complicated world and life, God is taking you along smoothly and with less worries. He never asks for reciprocation. He only says think of me. Is he not great? I thank him all the time.

there is so much for which to be thankful to God everyday. the moment i get to sleep i talk to Him to give me sound sleep and the moment i wake up in the morning i again thank Him for a new day has come. i thank God for my family and relatives, my friends, my work and activities for the day. Above all, i thank God for He's always being there in good times and in bad times.

I keep a gratitude journal and I write in it every day. In it I write five things every day that I am grateful for and I thank God for all my blessings including my children, husband, home, family, friends and job. I also write prayers for all the people in my life I know who are suffering right now.

I cannot just say enough thanks to God for everything He have done in my life. He has been so faithful and gracious to me, not only me but to my family and to all the people and all creations God made. I just truly can't thank God enough for so much blessings and love that He has given...He is more than just to thank Him, I can say I cannot be myself without His love, without His guidance and good leading in my path's life. I awe everything to God, even this very own life that God has given truly He is worthy and deserving of all our praises and thanksgiving. To God be the glory!

I thank God everyday for the blessings he has given to me and my family. Our pastor has a saying that I remember quite often "There are only two times to praise/thank God . . .when you feel like and when you don't."

yes, it's true - there are a lot of things we need to be thankful to God. i agree with everything that you've written. it's easy to thank God in the midst of the good things happening around us but what about during the times of despair, discouragement and problems? have you ever tried saying "thank you God"? Saying thanks to Him is not all about our feelings but it's all about what He has done for us. Emotions may lead us even more down but hey, God is bigger that all the things we've ever thought or imagined...

ohh..yes!!! i do tht every nite..for the wonderful day he given me! i think every one should thank god , after all, our existence is some whr related to him. i feel one must not forget god in happy times as we only tend to remmeber him ni our sorrows...god would also love to listen our happy momments..so i always do tht!!

I thank God first thing when i wake up, i have this early morning prayer everyday. I could never thank HIM enough for all the wonderful things in my life. He has always been there for me, in my ups and downs, though i am unworthy of His love, He continues to love me the way that I am because HIS LOVE IS PERFECT...

I thank God, many a times during a given day. I thank when i reach home safe. i thank when my kid says or asks intelligent stuff. i thank after having my food. i thank him when i watch disasters happening to mankind in the tv. I also pray for those victims. I pray and thank quite often.

I should be ashamed of myself, I never thank God enough! It seems I'm always too busy during the day worrying about work and other daily stuff, I'm always too busy... I know there should always be a first-place for God! I usually talk to him and think about him in my quiet time, which is just before bed. I do know that after all this he still loves me.
