I've never had this scenario occur, but i've had friends wo started 'talking' to my exes despite how badly the relationship had been going with me and her. I've also developed an honest dislike for going out with the guys. The 'guys' tend to see one of the group talking to anything resembling a cute female and suddenly MUST come try and hit on her since she is obviously willing to talk to people.
Makes me more than happy I found my aly bear.

I know that's right. It's like they smell the 'reboundedness' on a female and want to scoop in and do horribly bad things to the poor critter. Horribly bad, mainly meaning naughty and not so emotionally helpful things.

Its good to hear that your happy now. It seems to me that guys are always willing to jump on a chick when they find out thier boy is having problems with their girl.

yeah..this chick (I know what I want to call her) I used to hang with in high school asked me if I would mind if she went with my ex to the prom..I asked her if she thought that was a good look..seeing as though me and him were only broken up for about 3 days..she didn't seem to care about that and went for it anyway..all I had to do was tell people that she was the reason we broke up and they looked at her like she was the enemy..soon they had to break up and she had to move...

Yoru friend had some nerve even to ask you that and go out with your Ex. Furthermore, you realized she wasn't a real friend. In this type of situation if I was in it, I would be more disappointed with my friend than my Ex. The reason why I left my Ex is because I feel that I deserve better. But as someone I call a friend, it would upset me and ruin out trust we had with each other.

I wouldn't waste my energy on my so called friend. I would just tell her that she cross borders and now there is no trust and no friendship.

I have a friend who made a play for my ex at my birthday dinner a few years back, and I was still with him at the time. Her little game failed miserably for a few reasons. First of all he wasn't the unfaithful type. Secondly he didn't find her attractive. She and I were totally different types.Thirdly instead of getting angry I found it amusing and even flattering.
Ultimately her attempt to seduce my boyfriend had more to do with her attitude of competativeness towards me that it did my ex. The woman in question was an indentical twin and my opinion is that the only way she knew how to relate to other woman was by competing with them. I also think she was insecure and was afraid I was more atttractive than her. She was one of those women that assume having blonde hair and being skinny automatically means they are more attractive than other women, and who get nervous when this proves untrue.
In the end I took her attempt to seduce my man as a compliment.

Luckily i've never been in this situation but if I were then I would be PISSED. I'm sure I wouldn't be as close to them as I once was because I would have trust issues with them. A BF/GF or Ex of my friend is ALWAYS off limits. END OF STORY.

I agree with you 100 percent. Thats exactly how I feel. I would never consider going out with my friend's Ex. Just like you put it, their OFF LIMITS.

I see it like this: A favorite Brooklyn quote that I share with people in mylot, this is a saying that you say among friends which is:"don't mess with my leftovers." lol

Wow, it's funny that you bring this up. I have this girl that I call my little sister, I love her like she is one of my kids. Well she has an older sister that I started hanging with like 24/7 (exaggeration).
I started calling her my sister to, well a couple of years ago she tried to get with my man. I told her that I still loved her but I could do so from a distance. We speak every now and then. I had to let go because I feel that if you love me you would not stab me in the back that way.

Although, I believe a true friend would not do such things, I'm sure it happens to people a lot. I think to much of myself to let something like that hurt me, people can not make you feel hurt without your consent, & I will not give it! .... I'm in control of how I feel & no one else! ..... After all if she is my Ex, it must be for a reason. Good Question:-)

I guess this did happened to me and it happened pretty lotsa times...
The first time it happened, it was my junior from school that tried hitting my guy back then ,they got to know each other in a club and started hanging out and then, the girl told him shes interested in my guy...
=(
N now, its happening to my guy again...
Hmm, its a different guy..
My bf's ex and him are still considered friends and quite close in fact...
Now, i knoe that th girl is still interested in my guy and is asking for a patch...
What should i do?
Should i fake ignorance?
or should i find that girl to talk it out?
I dun wanna act all barbaric and besides if my bf was to find out, he will sure be mad at me for not trusting him and being so ignorant...
Im insecure and scared to lose him...
But its hard to pretend nothing happened....
What should i do?

I think she wont be my friend anymore is she tries to get my man. I did have a friend who likes a guy, and that guy and me are like going out. Then there this time she asked that guy out and she told him that i will be there where in fact I didnt even know about it. They went for an outing with her other friends. That guy went with her, and was surprised that I wasnt even there. after that day, the guy told me and even told me that my friend is telling him somethings about me that are not even true. I confronted my friend. She did admit it, she said she liked the guy very much and after that we did had a gap.
But if it is an EX, it'll be ok since we are over even before they became a couple. so technically, its not really cheating but of course that friend should be honest to me. I mean, she should tell me that my EX is her boyfriend.

For her not to tell you she is dating your Ex she most likely feels awkward about it.
