America's got talent-did anyone watch this show

We don't get America's Got Talent, so I can't comment. We do have this Australian talent show, which I could never really get into. The judges sound like the ones we have on Australian Idol.. so gross at times.

I was going to watch the show but no one else in the house was interested so I didn't. Then I get online this morning and see where Sharon got mad and stormed off, did she quit? I don't want to watch a show with tempers and another Rosie O'Donnel personality, that's not talent or entertainment. I was hoping it was a great show to show off America's talented citizens.

Last year this show was one of my favorites. We watched the first show of the season this year but I went to bed after the first hour. I found the acts lacked much for talent. Not sure what the second hour presented. I too was very angry with Piers' comments. What a jackarse he is. I thought Sharon was going to smack him at one point. He really needs to tone his words down especially when he is addressing children. The children are encouraged by their parents to try out for the show. The children are thrilled. Some have talent, some don't. The judges shouldn't belittle them for having the courage to go on stage and try.

I watched it a couple of times last year I just couldn't get into it...I usually wait till the last show to watch those kind of shows this way i don't have to endure the horrible acts that try out in the begining.

I just watched it last night for the first time. I really enjoyed it and it takes the place of american idol for the summer for me.

Well, I do think he is definately a little Cruel. Especially the comments he made to the little girls Mom were uncalled for. I do not really see anyone so far who sticks out yet. This show is an Odd one compared to Idol.

I watched it off and on-- I flipped channels alot- I watched it a bit last year- I'm not really into it that much- I can't figure out why they got rid of Brandy for Sharon Osbourne? Brandy was really nice- But I like Sharon on the show too- I think Piers is a complete As$- way worse than Simon-- probably is acting this way to get people to watch the show- but he was being really mean to alot of little girls- I didn't like that at all! I watch the show for the laughs- I wonder what the heck are these people thinking- Probably won't continue to watch-- just not my thing!

I had never watched the show before, however my daughter and her boyfriend came over to spend the night (that was a treat, they live in Dallas,Ga over 2 hrs away), they watched it so I watched with them. I loved it when Sharon Osbourne took off her eye lashes while walking down the hall. That Piers is a real jerk, my daughter's boyfriend says he's the Simon Cowell of the show, he seems worse though. That little cheer leaders hair was a little scary though, but I never could have been that mean to her, that was just rude.
