Do you rate them?

I am a newbie here. I just joined few days ago. I like mylot very much. Here I can find friends and discuss about almost everything. I love the discussion segment so much. Do you always rate the people who reply to your discussion? I haven't done any. I don't know what good it will bring to mylotters if I need to rate the answer.

I rate every response to my discussions and I rate everything I read. I think it contributes to the person's rating in the star and I guess it's a kind of motivation. I am not sure if it does any good other than that but I think if people take their valuable time to write something, it's always nice to show our appreciation on their writings. It makes people very happy to see their rating is up!

That's true! I was very happy when I first see the good ratings in my star, and I am working hard to keep that up. I think this is a motivation for us to write better content around here and it's really a nice thing!

Yes, you are right. When I saw my rating going up, I feel so happy as less than a month after I signed up here, I can see a positive feedback from other mylot members. I will do the same too, just to make sure that all members here will be happy like me *smile*

Oh yes. I did mention this long ago so the "veteran myLotters" sort of know.
I rate everyone a plus when they reply to my discussions. Unless your action is really screaming for a minus, it would be a plus for you. ;-)

Yes I do rate everybody who takes the time to answer my posts, as it is veery simple, dosen't take that much of the time and we can do at least this much for any body, I guess.

i try to rate every response that i get for my discussions, especially if it's a good comment. As much as possible i also don't give out negative ratings (unless if the post is really offensive). I am not sure though if the ratings affect the earnings of myLotters. If it does, well then at least I can say I contributed a few cents to my fellow myLotters earnings by rating positively. =)
