we all love music but did you notice that the most songs that are a hit or mainstream are the sad songs. lyrics that are about breakups, waiting in vain, the letting go, loving by a distance, being a martyr hehehe
Even if we are inlove we still cater to these kind of songs right?

i think so.i dont understand why though that they make them the biggest hits on the radio for.they've been doing that though for years on top of years.
even in country they do the same.i think it's b/c that they think that people want to hear about cheating songs,sad songs,etc.and they think that's how they will get the money from the publishers.i've noticed this though for many years during my life as a child and till now.it just makes the songs more popular and that's what the listeners wanna hear.they've done a survey about it long time ago and there were like 56 thousand people voted for the sad depressed songs being the populest.

yea, maybe because it touches more of the heart and you can really feel the emotions onthe song maybe?!
