nowadays people are getting hooked to internet and make many friends by chating do u think they could become ur best frieds for life

I think there is potential there. I know, I've been talking to a few people online, for at least 5+ years now. We've gotten to know eachother pretty well. Others has only been a few months to a few years, but I think there is potential to find friends for life online.

Just thought I would add, I still firmly believe, people still need to be very careful when meeting someone off the internet, or how much information they give through the internet.

there are possibilities, but you should be careful. there is no harm or trying to win friends. i have some good friends from the net. so i hope you can have some too.

It definitely possible. I met both my boyfriend (with whom I now live together) and my best friend online :) Both were through a forum though.
