Your question really depends on what you call best. It depends basically on your needs, so it is a very open question with very open answers. The A380 and the 787 Dreamliner are totally different planes, except for the fact both are the latest technology.
The A380 is designed to be the biggest commercial jet in the world. It will serve long haul routes with high amounts of passengers. The 787 Dreamliner will be an efficient jet, but will not be as big as the A380 and it will server shorter routes.
As you see, the best would be the best that fits your needs and the A380 was designed for different purposes as those of the 787.

The new Airbus A380 is set to launch a new era in air transport. It benefits from its greater capacity and the ability to fly longer distances non-stop. Only airports equipped to handle these huge aircraft will reap the benefits. As one of Europe's leading airports, Frankfurt is welcoming the A380 with open arms.
