I would suggest sticking with windows XP until windows Vistas flaws get all straightend out. If you really want vista then purchase a computer with it already installed, because many people have bought the CD but it is incompatable with many computers, and since You can't return software, they lost on their investment. Vista mainly has compatability issues with alot of previous PCs
