I'm not against homeschooling, but I am not for it either. One of the big drawbacks of homeschooling (especially for just one child) is the social learning. You can not get far in life if you can not interact with other people and school is the one place we learn how to do this as a child. One thing to be sure of if you send her to school (public or private) is to become involved with the school, the classroom and anything else they have that lets you interact with the school. It is very important not only for you to know what is going on at school and with your child, but also for your child to see that you do care what is going on in her life.

I have found that homeschooling is the way to go, particularly if your child needs a little extra help and attention. I recommend it. Plus you don't worry about them as much if their in someone's home you know and trust, rather than in public school :)
