Do Indian movies have the standerd as that hollywood movies have????????

Do you think indian movies have the same std as the hollywood movies have ??????????? We often hear saying that indian movies should go for oscar do u think it would be fine to go there with a film which doesnot deserve anything an make fun of ourselves is good???????? IS IT NECESSARY TO SEND MOVIES FROM INDIA EVERY YEAR WITHOUT CARING OF WHAT THE MOVIE WILL PRESENT THR IN FRONT OF PUBLIC???

Indian movie will always be an indian movie. :D that's what the saying always goes.. there's a lot of film making at bollywood and most of the films will only take about a month or two to finish. Some of them are good quality movies and fun to watch but can they really match movies like Lord of the rings or Pirates of the Caribbeans? The plot is almost identical, love, rich and poor, policeman, guy with mustache, dancing and singing with different scenery background, and you name it. :D But personally, it is still fun to watch as the good guy always win. and the originality of the film is always indian. If people have pleasure watching indian movies, then it will be fine for me to be circulated abroad.

exactly but do u think its enough for a movie to be just fun if it has to win a prize at international level which has its reputation. Dancing guys or gals can't just make a good movie it needs good plot direction n a hard workin team of actors n technitians As i belive this it may or may not be total criterion but it is necessary

Indian movie makers are money makers.The major part of the movie goers who contribute to thew producers kitty are still at their basic level of education ,awareness and taste thanks to our Nethas who have the ulterior motive. So to make a place in the success list producer ,director or Hero list these guys shout from the room top that they have made a master piece which is being seconded by the delirious fans under trance. Likewise the India cinema has to be free from so many shackles to make itself worthy of thinking of Oscar.
