Just for a twist, im betting for the cleveland cavaliers.. Because all of my previously favored teams, were now out. So to say, this finals is just out of my exciting list of playoffs ever.. Back on the tract, so what do you think are the percentage of winning over san anotnio, considering that san antonio is holding the records of having the most number of playoffs show. Hoping for your responses

The Cleveland Cavaliers have great chances to win against the highly-favored San Antonio Spurs. As a matter of fact, a lot of my friends think that the San Antonio Spurs will win it in six games. There are some who doubt that the Cavaliers will be winning a game against them at all. After all, it is their first trip to the NBA Finals for that franchise. And the Spurs have been to the Finals three times, and they eventually won all three of them. Perhaps experience will be a big factor in this year's finals. But don't you underestimate the Cavaliers. They didn't reach the Finals for nothing. They went through some tough opponents in the East. Never doubt the heart of those willing to conquer the highest mountain. Never underestimate your opponent, especially in the Playoffs. Look what happened to the Mavericks, a number ONE seed got knocked out by an EIGHT seed.
Anyway, I have my money bet on LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers right now. Why? If it wasn't for the Spurs, my Number One Choice Phoenix Suns would be in the Finals right now. Beat the Spurs for the sake of the Phoenix Suns. he he he..
The Cleveland can pull it up if they will fight defense with defense as well. Spurs are a pretty good defensive team and have a lot of fire/scoring power. A lot of players can fill up the scoreboard for them. Ginobili, Finley, Horry, Duncan, Parker, and Barry are perhaps the big factors for the Spurs.
If you stop them, then Cleveland has a great chance though. Bowen will be assigned to guard LeBron. But LeBron is bigger and stronger and more talented and even faster than Bowen. Bowen will end up fouling out eventually. =)

whoah! that's an indepth NBA opinion from you. and, for that i'l choose you as the best response! Well i dont, underestimate the team, i am actually betting for them just like you do. Just another similarity u might had, all of my friends think it had no chances before it even begun. So hearing ur comment was a big plus.

chillaxx, thanks for marking me best response.. too bad, cleveland lost Game 1 today. Lebron didn't play as i expected him to play. with game 1 in the books, defense is what cleveland lacks right now. but defense against lebron was great! but watch out for game 2! =)

I'm going to side with you and say the Cavs. only b/c strange things happen....I'm not saying they will win b/c they have talent....
In previous seasons, most recently, Mavs vs. Heat the Heat won and the Mavs. were the clear favorites. Of course there still remains to this day, QUESTIONS about some of the calls the officials made.....
But, overall, people neglected - the fact that - the Heat weren't dependent on ONE player, unlike the Cavs w/ James....The Heat actually had some nice talent on the bench. The Heat surely had much more talent for them on the bench then, than the Cavs do now.
So, again, I'm not saying the Cavs b/c of their talent but moreso b/c s-it happens and Cinderella just might make an appearance at the ball....Then, too, the Cavs. just might up their game and totally annihilate the Spurs.
In that case, to be continued.....At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. These are the final two teams. These are the top dogs. They are the prom King and Queen.....It doesn't matter who wins or who looses really. They were the team to beat and no one could beat them so it's all good and nothing else matters.
BTW- The Mavs are #1.

In my opinion the team that stood a chance against the SPURS was the PISTONS and unfortunately they are not even playing...On the other had the Cleveland Cavs are a one man team. LeBron in the entire Cavs team. Maybe he can do something but I highly dought that he will be able to take on the entire SPURS team. But then again the Pistons were beat by the Cavs and all thanks to LeBron. Its suppose to be a team game with PLAYERS and not a player. That is why the heat won the finals last year. One man team. Dwayne Wade was the one player that made that series of games won happen. Mavericks was a good team but what can you do when a team chooses to give one player all the responsibility and not play the way its meant to be played.
I am defenitely betting on the Spurs because that has been my team always. I dont really know what is going to happen but I can tell you that my beliefs. San Antonio SPURS are going to win it 4-1! So GO SPURS!

Cavs is great BUT for me Spurs will win the title again why because they are well oiled machine right now having duncan, ginobili, parker, bowen and oberto they are all 100% healthy and physical strength there no way james can do it what he did to piston spurs have long rest they hvae after winning to jazz while cavs still competiting wiht piston and othe thing is spurs knows how to play in finals they have all experienced they needed when it come to nba finals...playoffs and finals are different natures it comes to pressure...just all sit and hold tight to bumpy ride of the two teams i think but spurs will ruin lebron dreams...
