Eww, oh mah gah. Ok, I'm not a "girly girl" by any means, but I just had to crawl up in our home's attic hole to bring all the boxes down. My fiance is always working lately, so I thought I'd take it upon myself to "get the job done".
Did I go too far this time?! I was freaking scared. Our house is 107 years old!
(p.s. the flashlight made it scarier)

Uh, honey, if you think doing something like this is 'going too far', then you're in trouble. Don't depend on a man for things like this--you were right to do it yourself. There are few tasks that a woman should feel have to be left to the man--she should always be able to roll up her sleeves and do it herself. You were absoluetly right to bring down those boxes--you faced your fear, and you did get the job done. Nothing wrong with that.

I am a man but..... Now my wife and I bought this house 4 years ago. We have YET to even go up into our attic. I'm not real fond of places like this either. So it's not just a woman thing. Hahahaha!!
