I'm working as a call center agent inbound (those who have the same profession know it), our business is a remittance and our clients are mostly from Great Britain. What I notice form most British is their great showing of appreciation for what we do in giving them a service trough phone.
Most of the time you will encounter them saying "excellent", "beautiful", and "lovely" at the end of every sentence I'm uttering which I seldom hear in our Filipino customers.
Isn't that nice? I just want to thank them for that by starting this topic. Any other call handler here who experiences the same way as I am?

good for you, you have appreciative customers.. most of the time, i got "f words" and "sh*t" whenever i disclose the current balance of our customers! but you know what, tjose words, though hnurt, made me strong.. and i do understand why customers get irate-- we are dealing with billing and most of the time, customers get mad when they are paying high bills but do not know where their money goes.. we have a hard time explaining but a thank you after the call really made me smile and utter: i had a good call!
