i don't mean an address book like on your computer. I mean a real address book you carry with you or keep around your house??
I have an address book on yahoo mail but i also have a REAL address book for just in case. You never know , something could happen to your computer and then you might need to call someone. So i keep one around just in case?
Do you do the same or do you just rely on your computer?? What do you have in it. Name address, phone number, cell phone number, email, birthdays?

Yes I do!
I have very little faith in technology and know so many people who have lost all their numbers due to a mobile phone malfunction!
I think it is a good thing to have a paper and pen back back up just in case!

I do, and I'm so bloody grateful I have, I always keep a diary for dates like birthdays and appointments etc, at the back there is a nice section for addresses and numbers, without it I would be lost, especially as I got my mobile stolen recently, all my numbers were stored on there, if I didn't have a back up, my address book I would be completed fooked! I don't take a chance, not worth all the aggravation and upset.

Hello snow. I have my address book on the computer, mobile and a real one with me. Right after the emergence of mobile phones years ago, I stopped using a real address book. Last year, my mobile phone was stolen "sad" along with all the list of my friends and client's contact numbers, email adds, address and birthdays. It was a lesson and an eye opener for me that I still need to have a real address book. I think it took me a month before I was able to get all the complete list again.

Thanks for reminding me that I should keep a hardcopy of all my contact such as keeping a physical address book. It never crossed my mind to use one since I got my own computer. All my friends and collegues and relatives contact are all saved in my computer as well as in my cellphone. But in the case of a computer crash or virus then I'll loose all of them. Thanks.

My address book in on my palm. I can print it as needed. It is also my calendar.
I am working on writing a robot to sync it to my ipod and to the address book that came with my computer. This way my devices could stay in sync. If only now I could sync up my cell phone.

Goodness, no no no. Not since grade 6. I don't even have online ones. The addresses are scattered everywhere inside emails or membership lists.

yes i do have an address book - a birthday book - and a xmas card book. basically a book for every ocassion and i still manage tomiss the odd birthday. i love modern technology but you can always rely on the good old book and pen. here's a thought - i keep all me email addresses on my computer only. you have given me food for thought now.....

I have a regular address book, plus I have a PDA that has all of them on it. I wouldn't rely on just my computer, I'd be too afraid of losing all the information.

me, I carry both options manual nor mechanical coz they have their own means of usefulness. Like what I've encountered when my pc nor cp suddenly shot down kind have trouble shooting well not to worry much coz' I have my back up the real address book were I patiently wrote the information, contacts of a certain person.

I do have an old fashioned regular address book. I am glad that I have kept up that habit, because it makes it easier to find family members and friends when you need to. I just have email addresses on my computer, but in my regular address book I put in the address, phone number, cell number and email address. That way I always have access to that information.

I only hv address book at computer and mobile phone, because those are too common. My father have a real address book, but it also very old(I mean the address book). My father have a real address book because he don't know how to use computer. If he know hoe to use computer, I think he will use computer too.
