How far would you drive in one day before you decide to pull over for the night?
Have you ever taken really long driving trips?
How long did it take you to get there?
Where did you travle too?
It takes us 30 hours to drive from our front door to the cross the state line in Florida
We never stopped (BR breaks and meals only)did it all in one drive
I know insane but it worked Only has sooo many days to spend in the sun Wanted to get there as soon as possible

The longest drving trip I have been on was in Australia. My ex-husband had trouble with his car. So we travelled with two friends in one of their cars. It was a large car with seats that went right from one side of the car to the other side with no gap in the middle. We set off on Christmas Eve, that was a few days later than we had planned. The drive took us from Brisbane to Cairns. We went past sugar cane fields, towns, small villages and sandy beaches. On Christmas Day we stopped off at Sarina Beach. I loved seeing the golden sand and gently waving palm trees. Even through it was stinging jellyfish season I decided to go swimming. I was nervous about this though so I wore a pair of tights under my swimming costume. It was lovely warm water and so relaxing. I didn't want to get back in the car because I was having such fun. The drive continued. I fell asleep and was woken by one of my frinds shouting that my pillow had fallen out of the window. We had to drive back a bit to get it. Getting it back I was able to fall asleep again. Next thing I knew we had arrived in the early hours of Boxing Day morning. It was almost pitch dark and all I could see was the shadow of a palm tree. We carried outr bags down the driveway the Queenlander style house we were staying in.

Well, we once drove straight through to Monterrey Mexico. I think that was like 18 hours or so. We drove straight through from Orlando to Dallas and that was about 30 hours with BR breaks and food. We drove straight through to St. Louis once, I think it took like 14 hours, but I am not too sure as I fell asleep in the car. We make the 3 hour drive to Waco pretty often. Now that my uncle is moving to Lubbock we will make that 7 hour drive at least once a month. Of course if you want to talk about long drives, morning "rush hour" can take you 3 hours to travel 20 miles!
