What goes up must come down! My rating slipped! :(

I was pretty ecstatic a couple of weeks ago, to see that I had made it to the coveted blue star of perfection, a perfect ten rating, but today, when I logged in, I was disappointed to see that it had slipped down to a red star. I had been a bit busy with my other activities and had not posted anything in the past week, and this I presume is the reason for my fallen rating, but I do intend to correct it, and soon. I hope I get back my star soon!
Have you reached the 'Blue star of perfection' only to see it slide? Have you managed to get it back or is it still below the perfect ten? Share your thoughts.

My star has never been below a ten since the stars had been introduced. Well, except for a short period recently when everyone's star dropped only to be corrected shortly thereafter by mylot staffers. I'm a busy woman and mother so I don't usually get a chance to post everyday, but my star has remained a steady blue anyway.

Well thank you very much, complexvanilla. I do try to give good responses and most tend to be at least three of four sentences long sometimes much more. I like to write so this kinda thing just comes so easily to me. Thanks again and I'm certain your star will return to blue quickly.

Hey zuri, you are a great inspiration. If you have been able to hold on to your star in spite of being too busy to post regularly, that only means that you have been posting really high quality stuff. Keep up the good work. Hopefully, I will get back my own star soon!

Hello,complexvanilla,i also have my rating decreased by two(from 96 to 94) and i loss my blue star,honestly i do not really care about the star rating,i just try hard to maintain the quality of posts and discussions,if people do not like them and rate me negative,that is something out of control,but i believe your rating will be increased as you always have good replies,no worry.

Hey, many thanks for sticking by me! I had been warned by many of my friends who too had lost their star points for really no particular reason. I do hope I get it back. I'm not hankering over that star, but it does feel nice to have that affirmation right?

I klnow the feeling I was once a perfect 10 now I am but a 9 lol. Yes you can get it back might take a while but it happens. I really don't mind being a 9 I still have my mylot friends and thats what make me happy.

Yeah, that's what keeps me going too! While the stars are not everything, they do matter you know. It does feel nice to have a perfect ten! I won't lose sleep over it, but I do hope I get it back, sometime soon! Thanks for the response.

The silly star that does not affect our ratings and seems meant to motivate us and yet does not is all dependant on how our friends rate us. If they begin to not rate us then it slips. It has happened to me although my responses are rarely short and more rarely not thought out. So get the right friends that remember to rate you. I rate my friends when I see them indiscussions and each time I respond to any discussion unless best response is already picked I rate a plus too. It is part of how we participate. Good luck with that star stuff.

Hey, many thanks, Willowlady. I haven't been losing sleep over the loss of the coveted star, but it does feel bad! (I'm being honest!) I do hope my friends don't forget to rate my posts, as I, like you rarely if ever respond with short posts. These things happen, huh?

I know Ihave hit the 10 star a few times and then been dropped back down
I know it is going to drop again over the weekend cause I am not going to be here LOL I am at a 9 now
No matter either way
Not worried about pay out either. Might make it for next month LOL Missed the last 2 Oh well life goes on

i feel bad too, we both felt bad because of that... i also got my blue star then gone down to red star.. maybe some of my discussions was rated negative that's why.. i hope i'll get my blue star soon.. goodluck you,, i know we can make it happen again.. reaching the top! hehehe.. again, gooluck!
