I have a question about bleach........

I have bleach, but really dont use it much. I dont know how i guess LOL sounds sooo stupid i know!
I always thought that I can only use bleach on white clothes and if I used it even in small amounts on colored clothing that it would ruin it? Is this true?
how do i remove a stain from say a blue shirt with bleach?
Sorry I know its not really a parenting issue, but well my kids stain a lot of clothes........does that count?! LOL ;)

Don't use regular bleach on a blue shirt. It will ruin the shirt. I use shout for most stains. Sometimes the key is putting shout on it before the stain sets. If your out, then as soon as you get home put the stain remover on it and throw it in a prewash cycle if your washing machine has one.
Regular bleach is good for whites. Don't pour regular bleach on colored clothes.
