Does Happiness Exist? Is anyone truly happy? How long does happiness last? I'm asking because I haven't came across one single person who says they are truly happy.

This is a great discussion and something that I have wondered myself many times.
It seems to me that most of the people in my life are usually unhappy. I think maybe happiness is only a temporary thing.
It seems people always want "something more" no matter what they have. I know this is true for my children. No matter what we get for them, or do for them, they always seem to be wanting to get to the next level. They always want to do one more thing or get one more thing. I try to teach them to appreciate what they have and I think they understand what I am trying to teach them, but they don't seem to get it completely.
I think this is true for most adults also. They always want to get to the "next level" or they always want to add "more something" to their life.
If they are successfull in business, then they are dissatisfied with their personal life. If they have a good homelife, then they are wishing they had more money. There are many combinations of this.
Sometimes I wonder if it is human nature to be dissatisfied.
Good luck with your discussion. I hope more people reply to it.
