Today, Tomorrow or a month from now

I saw the doctor today for my regular check-up on baby and me. I am 30 Weeks or 31 Weeks they aren't sure. I am having Braxton Hicks contractions and the baby has engaged the pelvic area. The doctor said flat out today they don't know when to expect this baby. My due date is August 7-14 as they are unsure of how far along I am but baby and I are both looking like this could happen at any time. I don't know what to expect now and I am a little afraid to plan anything or do anywhere. I was to go to my in-laws for a week to help with wedding things for my brother-in-law but I can't be that far from my doctor because of my health problems. This whole thing is kind of starting to suck, I just want it over with so I can start having a normal life again not one run by doctors and hospitals but run by kids, pets, and my husband.

Wow sorry to hear that. I am 29 weeks and started having BH contractions this week. I did have them with child #2 at about 30 weeks up until 36/37 weeks or so and then they went away!! Just drink a lot of water, rest and warm baths.

you just gotta be cool my friend. the period of waiting is almost over. you only have to increase your patience. That's the way its gonna be when you are an expecting mother.

I have all the patience in the world when it comes to this, I was hoping the baby would go to August because my son was preterm and I don't want that for this little one. I just hate not knowing and that is where I am with this little one because of time frames not matching up and with the baby being so low. I am one of these people that wants dates, times. When I drive I have to know everything about where I am going. I need complete control over everything and babies are hard to control I can't tell it to stay where it is because I am not ready, if it wants out it is coming.
