If You Knew People Here Didn't Like You Would You Still Stay?

We don't know each other well enough to hate one another. I know people attack others personally on this website but just look at their posts they almost always complain about having responses or questions deleted. They also get hung up on similar issues and ask the same questions over and over again just in a slighly different way. Oh Islam is terrible, immigrants should go home, other cultures or countries are stupid blah blah blah. If you choose to disagree with them even politely they will tell you to go hug a tree for enviornmental issues or a terrorist in some cases. The insult that amazes me is when they say I am too PC. I wish they would try it. They get overrought. I can't keep a straight face or resist taunting them a little. They get so rediculously mad but that is about them not you. You have got the right attitude.

I would stay wether they like me or not and I am not going anywhere if anyone didn't like me well they just don't know me :)

I'd still stay. I like writing anyway, and as for agreeing with other points of view, there are some I don't. You also have to be honest, and you cannot be afraid of that other person. I doubt that they'd know your address and phone number anyway, nor your real name.

Why would people not like you? Are the people who do not like you representative of myLot? We have 95k+ users here and how many thousands have expressed their dislikes for you? The answer is clear now, is it not? :P

Good question. There are a few people here who don't like me, but then there are many who do. I don't think anyone should leave just because a few people may not like them. This is a huge community with a class of personality. Everyone is not always going to et along.

Umm...from that first day you went to kindergarten has everyone everywhere always liked you? Have you everywhere always liked everyone? I've already had differences with a few on mylot and I've been here a few weeks. Honestly I have met so many nice people and been able to participate some very excellent topics that the few negatives just don't matter. I've enjoyed learning much more about people from different countries, having different perspectives and the generally nice atmosphere this board is. I'm still here even though a few nasty ones have lashed out for not liking my point of view. Oh well, too bad for them.

Yes I would stay and of course there will be people here who don't like me just as there are people on here that I dislike. That's life - you can't please everyone. MyLot's a big place now anyway - if someone really gets on my nerves I try to avoid them so I imagine people will do that with me too.

Watchit no matter where we go in this life or what ever we do there is going to be some people who do not like us and we them .Do not go through life leaving places because of them otherwise you will miss out on the true friends you find along the way .Mylot has been a great place for a lot of us including myself .I have no friends where i live mainly because i have been hurt so much in the past and have chosen to stay that was in fear of being hurt again .I use mylot to talk to a lot of online friends from all over the world ,I`m happy this way .So i would definately stay and just ignor those who rile you they are definately in the minority .Take care and god bless.Have a great day and live life to the full ,cherish All your friends

I'd stick around...I couldnt see ALL of MyLot hating me LOL but even so, big whoop ya know...I enjoy the topics, conversations and have met some really great ppl here so a few even if its a large few not liking me wouldnt make me leave...LOL I"m far too stubborn to quit like that ;-)

I believe that I would still stay steadfast in posting as long as I was still making money but it would be much harder as it helps when friends respond to your discussions . I believe I would have to take a look at how I was respoding to others as there would have to be a reason why so many others were upset with me and I would have to check and see if I was wording things wrong or something . I wouldn't want to offend someone and would be hurt to think I hurt a bunch of others in the way I worded and would try to make ammends with how I must have offended others though .

It doesn't bother me when someone doesn't like me for my opinions.It's very simple....we can't be friends with everybody and there will always be some that won't like you. So I would keep posting...because there are so many people here at myLot....that those few would not matter.

I am sure there are plenty of people that don't like me, and that's fine with me!!! There are also people that I don't like here. That's just the way it is, with all these users not everyone is going to get along. I wouldn't leave though because of it. :)

Mylot is a friends community. We all are friends. Liking or disliking a friend first comes with the quality of posts. If one have interesting things to share or say some new to other friends his/her popularity increases in mylot. So I think by posting quality discussion we can get good response and our friend circle can grow more.

In a forum such as this, we are here to voice our opinions, share ideas and thoughts. Whether or not someone likes you or what you said or what you did, is of no consequence. Our rights under the Constitution state that. Stay and continue to share and post and respond, for you are acting under your rights to do so. if someone doesn't like you then they can scroll right past your posts and post someting of their own. Keep it up and stay active, sharing is what makes life interesting!!!!

I don't care if people don't like me. All they have to do is ignore me. I am here for fun not to win a popularity contest. I feel that way too in my "real" life.

Yes, I'd still stay. I love reading the posts here and well, as they say it, you cannot please everybody. If other people don't like you maybe you should know why they didn't like you in the first place. If you think that you are not stepping on other people's toes then there's no reason for you to worry so much. Afterall, you're just human! :)

I will still visit Mylot. I think I have more friends who like me and are willing to understand and support. It might be tough knowing that some don't like you. But I won't give up my friends for some undesirable persons. And I will do my best to avoid them. I think Mylot is wide enough for peaceful cohabitation.~lol Have a great day Wachit! (^^,)

The only reason I would leave is if I am no longer enjoying being here. Like you, I look forward to reading and I know that there are a few people I can always go to and read their responses just to be instantly perked up. I wouldn't give that up because I thought some people didn't like me. Also, I think you always have to consider the source. There are people here who just aren't really going to like anybody, and you can't make decisions based on difficult people like that.

i didnt leave here because i have more friend here than some not like me.

well there's nothing wrong in staying,inspite of knowing that people over here don't like you.It's always appreciable to give good suggestions and point out bad ones.It will help out many number of people over here.Instead of feeling that,someone doesn't like you,start rendering u r help thru u r words as much as u can.
