I'm happy about these sales. I always thought Blake was a more original and talented artist than Jordin, but I'm glad he's not limited to any restrictive American Idol contract.

I agree now his real talent will shine through with his own music.

Blake Lewis has always been and will continue to be a better entertainer than Jordin. She hapens to be a young girl with a very good voice, but I don't think she is necessarily interesting enough to become extremely popular. Those helping her to produce her music from now on are going to have to put a lot of work into making her more popular.

Honestly I think Blake Lewis should have won, they picked a very poor song for Blake to sing This is my Now, but one good thing he is now a free agent and not obligated to sing their music.

They both are good. Blake's style of music is much different than Jordin's and I think that he did a poor job on Shot Through the Heart on the show. He is doing a remake song that was popular anyway by Bon Jovi and she is doing a new song, that could effect the ratings too.

I agree, lol, last year Taylor Hicks won American Idol but Chris Daughtry blew him off the charts, it makes you wonder about their voting system.

Jordin and Blake are both talented i wanted Blake to win Idol as well but the numbers on the charts don't matter they are both very good singers with their own style of who they are

It's because teenage girls drive the music industry. Teens don't like Taylor Hicks. Teens aren't going to like the older generation.
But they like Blake because he's young and good lucking. It's ok that he can't sing because he's cute and can beat box. He's smart to pick music where the instruments outperform the vocals because his are not good.
