Hobbies

I crochet, do needle work of all kinds and I love to watch TV and play vidoe games. I started the crocheting because my mom use to do it, I started playing video games with my kids and am hooked. I taught myself how to knit because I wanted to do something differently. I find now that I am disabled I am doing more crafts to keep myself busy.

I have many hobbies and they change throughout the year with the seasons...when it is warm I love to camp, fish, and hike...go horseback riding..and garden... When it is raining and cold....I like to myLot, cook and bake..crochet...and am trying to learn how to quilt... In the early fall....I love to can my fresh fruits and veggies....and make jellies... Throughout the year I love to photograph different things and sceneries.... I am not sure exactly how I began all of these things but that is all I can think of right now.....LOL

I crochet too and I also havent been doing it. It seems like in the summer months I dont do it. But as soon as winter rolls around Im back at crocheting. I sometimes make some blanketts as gifts. That takes alot of time thou. My girlfriend showed me how to crochet. She also does needlepoint but I couldnt get into that.

I crochet in the evenings when I'm too tired to do anything but watch t.v. I started crocheting when I was pregnant for my second child, many decades ago, but hadn't done it for years. Then I learned about Project Linus and decided I would crochet afgans for them. It takes me about a month to finish an afgan, but it keeps my hands busy and it is for a good cause. [www.projectlinus.org] And, of course, there is myLot. And I read some at bedtime or when I'm sitting out in the fresh air. My volunteer work is a kind of hobby, I guess. Sometimes it gets too consuming and I have to pull back for a bit. Being retired I have lots of time to do things like these.

I also like to crochet, and I play viola and read in my spare time too. I guess those are my main hobbies. Of course I like to spend a lot of time on mylot too! :)

My hobbie is watches. I like to callett all kinds of watches.New ones and old one,big ones and little one. All shaps and sizes.To be truthful i have know ida how i got in to it lol but i like it so i guss i will keep doing it for now.

Hobbies for me- mylot would be one of them for me too- I'm here enough! Sports- are a hobby for me- I love to play horseshoes, softball, frisbee, basketball, even football- Crafts- I make alot of wood crafts- definately an expensive hobby but it's a hobby I love! probably my favorite!
