Staff Meetings, Board Meetings, General Meetings and the Like.

How do you stay alert and awake during one? Do you ever attend these kinds of gatherings? I for one hate attending meetings. But when it's a job requirement, there's really nothing I could do but grap my pen and notebook, and bring my cellphone along to keep me awake. I try to make the most out of it anyway. Hey you guys, do you preside over meetings or are you like me who dozez of to never never land...

I have attended so many of these meeting in my life and I could say that i would doze off during the meetings at least 80% of them. I would only stay awake if the meeting has interesting topic discussed or I am the one chairing the meeting.

The first thing I ask when a meeting is called is "Are you going to serve snacks?" When the answer is yes then I'm on it, that keeps me alert in meetings. Otherwise i'll just ask if we could send another representative or skip the meeting LOL.
