What do you remember most about your EX?

Well, I just talk to one of my ex's yesterday and he reminded me of one of the things that I could never stand about him. He use to put me down in a negative way so much that I began to believe the things that he was saying about me. It wasn't personal, he treated everyone like this, but I for one know that I do not have to take it any longer. I was much, much younger back then. Now, I am older and I know who I am, so his words don't affect me the same anymore. He is one of those people who is always acting like the world owes him a good life. Because I was with him for so long, (he is also a child molester)I learned a lot of his ways. When I met him, I was 15 and he was twenty-five and I was so impressed by everything that he did. As I grew older, the things that had once impressed me, started to make me sick. I suffered a lot of emotional and psychological damage behind him. It is a long story, but I never had a father and he took on that role. So far very many years, I thought that he genuinely cared about me, when in fact, all he cared about was satisfying his own sickness.
