These days I saw many discussion of asking for help in myLot. I'm not sure whether they read through the guidelines and terms carefully before becoming one member here. Maybe the time is too long to remember for them or they never read them whole carefully. So I read them again today as though I've read them before.:)
I think they're quite useful for us. When someone encounters any kind of troubles about myLot, if he/she knows well about the guidelines and terms, they won't bring any puzzles to him/her and can be solved easily.
Therefore, I wanna suggest that every user should be clear about them, especially those new ones.
Now it's time for you to read them through. Don't hesitate. It'll help you a lot.
Wish everybody enjoy yourself here!:)

Not only here but every where in my life, I like to exactly know what I am supposed to be like, mexshyl! I love to know my rights, limits and duties as well as dos and don'ts. So I read all mylot guidelines thoroughly at the time of joining some 2 and a half month ago. If I don't like terms, I don't join at all and it has happened at some sites as well as on the time of inscription in some programs in real life.
I agree with you that If someone knows well about guidelines there will be less trouble for people. I have seen people complaining about post deletions, being paid less etc. I think I have earned more than many people who have as much as 2 times more posts than mine just because I try to stick to mylot guidelines about participation in a discussion. My average per post income is more than 5 cents, I have more than 100 best responses and I have great friends, however little in number they are. All that is, probably because I know dos and don'ts and try to follow them.
I wish best of luck to all and specially the new users, happy posting:-)

I'm really pleased to receive your wonderful response.
Thanks for your agreement. :)
Yeah, you're right. I totally agree with you. We should know our rights, limits and responsibilities, no matter where we are, in real life or on the Internet.
It can give us a lot if we stick to the guidelines and terms here. You know what I mean, more earnings, more friends, more rating, more respects from others, etc.
I'm happy to share your good suggestions and experiences with other myLotters. I'm sure you'll have much more great friends. Thanks for your best wishes to them.
Thank you very much.
Wish you and all the others here do their happy posting every day! ^_^

I'm still rather new to this site and have been stumbling around here for a few weeks. I couldn't remember if I had read the guidelines or not, I may have skimmed them. It's hard to say. After reading your post I did. I do read all terms and conditions, I want to be careful of what I'm getting into. I access through work and will be leaving soon, so tomorrow I will visit the FAQ's. Thank you, I wish I had done this sooner. Thankfully I haven't done very much posting yet.

Hello mexshyl, when I first joined mylot, the first thing I did was to read the FAQs, Term and Policy and then the guidelines. So I more or less know about the guidelines. I agree with you that the guidelines help mylotters from violating guidelines and also give answer to some common questions like star rating and earnings.

when i signed up for myLot 10 months ago, i first went through the guidelines and FAQs before signing in here. i think in every group we try to be a member of, we should be responsible enough to read and understand the guidelines first. it's what we call proper ettiquette as well.
and even if i have read the guidelines before, i still read them from time to time to refresh myself and make sure i am not breaking any rule. if still there are things i am puzzled about, i send private messages to the myLot moderators and hear answers straight from them.
i hope others will do this, too. so, myLot is a friendlier place for all of us.
nice discussion mexshyl... anne

Hi, anne.
You've been here for 10 months. You did a good job, I think. I'm glad to know that you keep your eyes on the guidelines all the time. It certainly can avoid any violation in myLot. I'm sure you have a good etiquettes, anne.:)
Yeah, it's a good way for us to send private messages to myLot and solve what we're not clear enough or confused about.
Thanks for your good suggestion.
Thanks a lot.
Enjoy yourself here every day! ^_^

I think that I belong to the majority who never reads through any guidelines or terms of use/service. I always agree on the terms without bothering to read them. As for mylot, I only read the guidelines on how to register when I joined the site 4 months ago. I became aware of some rules on mylot by reading some discussions. Maybe I should have a look at them.

Hi, spiderman05.
There are so many people who never read through any guidelines or terms like you. :)
Whether read them through or not, it depends on themselves.
However, I think it's good for you. Anyway, if you're clear enough, it's okay without reading them.
Thank you for your honest response.
Have a happy day! ^_^

I read the guidelines over when i first started to understand what things were all about and what was expected of me as a member of the mylot community. Everynow and then when i post discussions and i am not sure if it fits the guidelines i will go over them just to make sure and you are right they are very useful.

Well done!
It's helpful for every myLotters here, especially the newbies.
Stupid questions?
I don't think so. Because of their new identity, it doesn't matter if only they're aware of the solution. I mean read them thoroughly to solve their troubles. ^_^
Thanks for response.

I have never read them, and I don't usually read them at any site I have joined. I usually find what I am looking for by reading other peoples questions for help. Causes if someone asks a question, chances are that lots of people have that same question.. What gets me the most is that I keep going to 'New user Discussions' and find that several discussions are about how no one knows how to earn money. If they would just read and see that there are already topics on that, then they wouldnt need to start more and more discussions on the same thing.

Hi, aleeming1.
Thanks for your honest response.
To some extent, it might helpful for you while reading from others.
It's okay for you if you just brownse those discussions. However, if you're aware of the rules and keep on answering that kind of posts, it would do harms to your reputatution.
Thanks for your reply.
Have a good day! :)

Greetings mexshyl, a very wonderful thought you this to all mylot members!;)
I've been here for a long time, and I always take my time to read and visit their guidelines. It helps me understand more on how their system works, as to why I get some extra additions on my earnings, posts/discussions deleted, how to help and contribute to the whole community and of course, to be more familiar with what they expect to us mylot members.
By this, I get avoid discussions on which it has the possibilty to get deleted and keep my earnings/reputation on the right track!;)
Thank you for sharing this, let's all hope that members (old and new) get to see this and be aware of mylot's guidelines..

Yeah, it does remind us to avoid anything which violates or goes against the rules here happen.
Let's keep our earnings and reputations going in right way together! ^-^
Hope all myLotters can attach the importance to the guidelines and terms.

i read the Rules and FAQ's for every site i first sign up to. that way i have a basic knowledge of how things work, dont bother the older members with stupid questions that are almost ALWAYS answered by the Rules and FAQ's pages.
that and i dont get myself into trouble either lol!

Hello, mexshyl,if you mean the terms of agreement when i joined mylot at the beginning,i can tell you i had not read anything,i just put a tick in the box provided and logged on to mylot straight away.
If you mean the discussion guideline,I had read it before i started posting my first discussion, but i think there are still some points which are quite unclear in the guidelines.

Hi, easy888.
You're also one who didn't read them through while joining here.
However, I'm pleased to know that you did before posting your first discussion.
Yeah, there is still something unclear in them, like other myLotters said, clarifications keep going from time to time.
Hope they'll be perfect or complete as soon as possible.
Thank you very much.
Have a good day! :)

It's been a long time since I joined this site. As a new member, I've never read the guidelines of MyLot because of too much excitement. I was not aware of the rules to follow until I violated some of them. I've been wondering why my earnings and ratings went down the next day. I posted a discussion about it until some members advise me to read the guidelines. After reading it, I fully understand what happened to me.
I hope everybody would read it thoroughly.
Have a nice day!

Hello, jencai.
I'm glad to share your experiences with others.
Some of us didn't realize the importance of them until they violeted or offenced the guidelines and terms.
Wish others especially new users read them thoroughly!
Thank you for your reply.
Wish you have a happy day! :)

Before I join in any site like these I usually read their guidline and some useful hint on the program but I just not take it seriously at least I have some knowledge before become a member. And I just read it again whenever I encountered some problems. Like what happen to us I think it was two to three weeks ago when all of our stars rates have fallen down. I visit again the guideline and read it again coz maybe all of us can't ever memorise that all. So if ever I have some question I just read them and I don't have to ask someone or post it.

I'm happy to know you read them before joining any site like this.
I always read them before joining anywhere and try to remember them all. Like you said, many of us can not memorize whole of them. So I think the most effective way is to read them more than once or twice, even third.:)
Thanks a lot.
Wish you have a good day!
