Love at first sight

I don't believe in love at first sight at all. To believe in it, you have to first define love. Love, in my opinion, is when you love a person despite knowing all his/ her weaknesses and negatives. In love at first sight, that just does not happen. You probably do not even know the person's name! So when love at first sight happens, what do you think one falls in love with? Not the qualities, not the attitude, not the real person, but just the LOOK. The next day they might not even recognise them in the streets with their make up off :) I agree with you that it is purely physical. But sometimes, the 'crush' at first sight sometimes grows into love with time, when they get to know each other.

Loving at first sight is possible, but frankly it's hard to succeed at the end.

I beleive in love at sight but it is more of attraction and less of love in most of the cases. There are people who had love at first sight and are still together.

yes i do beleive in love at first site but these days we dont see such cases very often

hey snaresh! for me, i think it's more to LUST at first sight. People really have to know each other and be compatible emotionally, understanding each others needs, dreams, hopes.. You can't really even tell by one look whether that other person is looking for a long lasting relationship and commitment or just looking for a fling. So what more to say you can love that person at first sight. For all you know, it will end up HATE at first week.. :)

Love at First Sight is all but crap! And hey, love always starts after the first sight. Ideally, as per your discussion, it should not be termed as Love. Your mom and dad still fight today and after spending 30-40 yrs together, they still dont understand each other. True love states good understanding, and this takes ages and may be, rest of your life. But at the end, still you may be left with 20%.

yes, you're right. Maybe in the minds of the persons involved, they could see the possibility of a relationship when looks is the basis, but then they don't love that person yet.

yea, i really agree with u,i too feel that love at first sight is more physical,actually i feel it is just a physical attraction,because when u love a person, u love them completely not just like there physical appearance.then u cannot call is love it will be just an attraction.to love a person will surely have to spend some time with them.then only u can really love them.

yeah,I believe that,I love a girl at the first sight long long ago.it was a quite special feeling,you love her when you see her first time,it is so crazy.I can not use any words to describe the feeling.wow....maybe you will know the feeling until you meet that. Good luck.

once it happened to me to fall in love with an argentinia girl really at first sight...and the same happened to her...this happened 7 years ago but we still manage to keep in touch!that's great,even if,due to the great distance that separes us,love couldn't never begin...
