I know that this questions is ironical. You have see ppl asking how one can reduce weight. Am different. I'm thin and want to put on some weight. I eat reegularly and i take it in good quantity. I also started taking beers as some one told me that i can gain weight by doing so. Is it true that one can gain weight by drinking beers? Are there any other tips? I eat burgers and all fatty substances but no use.

Eating is the first and most important factor that is needed for proper weight gain. It's simple - you need to eat more calories than you burn. This does not mean eating anything and everything that is not nailed down. Carefully plan your meals with foods that will help you gain lean mass, not fat. I suggest 6 meals. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and three other small meals scheduled throughout the day. The goal is to eat every 2.5 to 3 hours.
Focus on foods such as steak, chicken, fruit, milk, vegetables, cheese and assorted types of nuts. It's recommended to eat 4 - 6 pieces of fresh fruit a day, and at least four tall glasses of milk. Milk is a great, cheap protein source - take advantage of it. A sample snack meal would be a glass of milk, an apple, and a hand full of peanuts.

We have same problem, i need to gain weight too. Even i eat a lot, i am still thin, my metabolism is fast. I guess we both need to double our diet and adjust our physical activity to gain weight. We need to choose foods which is high in calories, carbohydrates, protein and fats. If things still don't work for both of us, i think it is better to think to aim staying fit and healthy. Think of this being thin tend to live longer.

...was like you before, my officemates were envying me coz i can EAT as MUCH as i like and still stay thin. i also dont like sweets, even now. now am a mom of two and have exactly the opposite problem - i can EAT as LITTLE as i like and still not losing weight. But as long as you are not feeling sick - i think you can enjoy being thin coz almost everybody likes to be thin...but if you are really worrying about it - then, you can see your doctor -he must know how to help you...
