do you think internet is harming children??

the way how they are guiding makes the difference

no not at all, internet provides knowledge, its not internet harming children, its children harming themselves......

To some extent it is harming our children. If we use it in right sense its really useful.

I think the internet is a great resource for children. I know it has been great for my children. I think parents need to control where their children go and watch what they are doing. My girls know that I check their sites they go to and I have only had one problem in which my daughter went where she shouldn't go and found out that I watch carefully and that she will be punished for not using the internet correctly. It only took once now they know exactly what is right and what is wrong and that mom is watching. So again I think it is a wonderful thing.

You are very right. Internet is now more responsible than TV or media to induce vulgarity on children. Internet is good but the fatal attractions of internet which are all free and need only a web address can spoil child. We should design a child internet portal which contain only children related matters, no vulgarity, games which are educational and intellectual. Children portal and adult portal should be locked by password.

If they use the net properly under the guide of teacher of parents, it will be a great tools to connect the world. If they are misleading, net will be a terrible staff. So most time it is depend on the way how to guide them not block the children from it.

But if you guide the kids to use the internet correctly, they could learn a lot of goods things from it which books and the school can't teach them!
