i've spoken with a lot of friends about this and most say that calling on the phone is more vital than texting (SMS).i guess it's more personal since there are persons voice and you can hear their reaction on something such as laugh, cry, etc. but i have several male friends who very lazy to call their gf and better sms their gfs.what do you think guys??
thanks!

i think i prefer calling, some peoples voice can make your day wonderful, but i have a friend that values text messages more than calling. she never deletes any lovely text in her fone. you can find text sent to her 2 years ago on her phone.

I love both calling and texting. I think it's nice to hear my lover's voice when we both have time to chit chat and catch up with what happen during the day. However, if one doesn't have a lot of time to chat or he just wishes to send some messages, texts can be short and sweet too. I think either of the communication is fine as long as the couple makes the effort to communicate with each other. I think both calling and texting mean the same to me.

...am married but my husband and i still exchange text messages regularly. also when he is out of town on business i appreciate his text messages -he calls occasionally but i dont usually hold him long on the line especially when he is out of the country. i personally prefer texting coz it doesnt require my immediate attention unlike phone calls when i have to drop what i am doing to answer it.

i think if ur not really tryin to have a real long convo and its just a question then texting is fine. but if ur tryin have a convo then just pick up the phone. with me i do both because im kinda quick with my thumbs. and if u know ur bf/gf well enough then u don't really need to hear there voice u can just read it and know how there reactiion was

agree w/u..some people really dislike the phone and texting is the best way to get in touch w/them.my close friend and my sister are the same.i'll call and call and never get a response.but when i send a text, seconds later i get a response,haha..
