Ok now I certainly know that it is the Patchouli Essential Oil that he likes
I accidentally spilled a bit on the Carpet earlier only a couple of drops as I missed the Candle
Well just now Gissi got a smell of it and well he is still rolling in it I guess the perfume from the other Day has worn of so he needed to refresh
I have never seen anything like it well I guess it is giving me some Peace lol and it is keeping him out of Mischief

That is too f unny! I guess he felt he needed to get some more oil so he can continue to smell good! Maybe he is addicted to the patchouli oil! Wow, that is funny.

That is amazing! I have never encountered a dog who loves to smell good! At least that is a plus in this case. It is better than other alternative odors.

LOL-- my Buca likes makeup- whenever i put it on he trys to lick it off- he also like vaseline jelly- when my lips are chapped i put it on and he sneaks up on me (as if he wants to curl up next to me and lay down) and then licks my face to get it...lol

It is good to hear that Gissi is feeling so much better. But now he is getting addicted to the oil and will so have to join a therapy group for Sniffers Anonomous. All that rubbing on the carpet, he will rug his fur off and be bald or your carpet will have a bald spot. He seems to like smelling good for the girl puppies. Next he will want to go for a walk to see the girls.

I absolutely LOVE the smell of patchouli, it takes me back to my hippie youth! Well when I come to visit, Gissi and me can wear our love beads, our negative heel sandals, our rose-coloured heart-shaped sunglasses, and heeheehee-- eat "brownies" and go braless!!! LOL!!! Peace, Gabs and Giss! ;-} {{{{*}}} Had my MRI last Tuesday and I took Ativan---I'm still very mellow and it's already Thursday! How's your hip, PixieAngel? :-}

Hey Gabs ...He's must be a hippy dog..All my hippy friends used to wear that scent.
You must put flowers in his hair and make him go braless! hehe
It is a nice earthy scent. I suspect that is why he likes it so much.
Kiss his nose for me.
xoxo

Our animals sure are funny. I wonder about the fragrance. Usually dogs like things with musk in it. My cats usually get excited about how my hair smells after using shampoo and conditioner, and will get up on the back of the chair or sofa and smell and lick my hair. The kitty that did that most has passed on now. I am sure you get some good healthy laughs out of seeing Gissi roll around. There is a spot in my house where catnip spilled. Not all kitties like it, but Creamery does and will roll and roll and then lay right in that spot and not move. Have a great day Gabs.

It could be a LOT worse! As mentioned above, he could enjoy rolling around in something a lot less pleasant outside!
As a note of caution, he could be sensitive to it so keep an eye on him for hair loss or redness under his fur. I had a friend who's dog went almost completely bald because his mother started using shake'n'vac on the carpets.

Well, there is certainly something in the Patchouli Essential Oil that takes his fancy gabs! It could come in very useful after Gissi has rolled in something awful when out walking, because you could put some of the oil on the floor for him to roll in and smell nice again, lol!

LOL, dearie...I guess you have found a way how to make Gissi behave from now on. If you felt the need to have some semblance of peace around your house, just drop a few of your Patchouli Essential Oil and let Gissi roll over there.
