I came from a family that is so close, conservative and a lot of family values to be followed then i got married where there family is different to what i have, my husband still have he's both parent alive but no communication whatsoever with he's mum he's dad is living in different country and sister leaves in the same country as we are...but in the other city we have no family closer to us. The question is is it good to have very close family to the point that my brother got married and yet still living in the same house as my mum?

Being close to your parents is good, as long as you don't have to live with them forever, and especially once you have got married, That is when your family changes. My wife's family was close to suh an extreme it was claustrophobic. Plus the fact they were quite odd, it made for a not so happy environment. We see my parents once a week, and are happy with that.

i think its good for one character build up. if u don't have parenst with close to u, u won't be able to getsome life's experience adn won't be able to understand this world!!!
