I have. Today I was going to and started off good but then started just browsing through post and reading comments and didn't post. I get so caught up at times reading that my time slips away from me and I don't get in the number of posts I want to get in. Do you ever do that? I suppose I could try to stay more focused but sometimes what people say to others really interests me even if the topic isn't something I would post on*L* Go figure.

I come on here every day with the idea of making a certain number of responses. I rarely however manage my targets because I get involved in too many discussions. I enjoy the social elements of mylot and will often spend my time reading through threads, like you even if it is on something im not moved to post on blessed be

Othere members havesuch interesting thoughts that beforeI know it an hour has gone by and I've only responded to may 2 discussions,

yes i do the same thing. start off thinking "ok, im gonna do 20 posts" and then i get very frustrated trying to find discussions that i even want to post on, much less have an actual interest in. on average i probably get between 10 and 15 posts a day before i get too frustrated and just quit. every great once in a while i will get pulled into reading through the replies on a topic for an hour or so, but not very often.

I try to do 50 posts/comments each day. But sometimes I get side tracked or don't have enough time.

I have been through that fwew times before...I get so excited and determined to make a dollar for that one day...lol...but then after reading the responses of others, I just can't post! I guess mainly because someone has already taken my thought and posted them down before me! If I want to make a point but then see that someone else has already done so, I just don't post anything.

I often do this. I try to make a minimum posting each day. If I go over it great but if not that's ok too. Some days are better then others and I'll plan on more of doing them but over all I just try to get a bare minimum in. For myself I'm all over the place, different subjects and people. If it strikes my fancy I'll respond :) I don't stick with one area only.

I don't ever set out to answer a certain number of posts. I do set out to answer all my friend notifications, so the amount of posts there varies according to how many are posting today. Sometimes, I get distracted by a poster who answered a friend's discussion, so I go answer some of that person's posts and get totally sidetracked from answering my friend's discussions.

Everytime i come on i have a post goal in mind and sometimes i do get caught up reading alot. It doesnt stop me from getting my daily mylot posting goals though. All it does lead to is being on here way to long and i suppose there is worst things in life than being on mylot to long right lol.

I am the exact same way! a hundred things peak my interest and I end up doing nothing. I have a lack of motivation. I talk a good game but when it comes down to it, I get side tracked. When i first opened this account, I had good intentions. I said I was going to try to get 50 or posts up a day, and I barely have that now, with all my posts combined! :)

Yeah, I usually have it in the back of my head to try to do 20 posts and as many comments as I feel like. Sometimes though I get sidetracked and just stat reading.

I try not to have a goal of so many posts per day, because I know that I could not manage it. There are so many different discussions and responses that even if I set a time limit for myself I always go over. I try to do at least 10 posts a day, not all at one time, but I like everyone else get caught up in discussions and sometimes do not meet my goals. I also have to say that I am forgetful and forget to go back and check posts I have made and responses I have given to see if I need to give any more responses. I am going to have to get better at that!

Actually I spend more time reading then posting lol. Especially people who post their links to some making money sites and stuff. I can't resist the urge to check it out. Or if I see some hot babe's photo, I cannot resist the temptation to go check out her profile. lol

I know what you mean. I say I am going to get on for an hour and then my daughter is walking through the door from school. That means I have now been on the phone for a minimum of five hours. That is a little much. It is just that some days I will be going through looking at post to see what I want to discuss and I see tons that interest me and I just can't stop typing. However, on the other hand there have been days that I have gotten on and not found anything that interests me and I am off within the hour. I enjoy this site alot and can not seem to get enough of it some times. Keep writing.
