there is no comparing of big b with shah rukh.
shah rukh has given what he can to the role of the DON
i think the remake was a good one. bolly wood has a bad history of making remakes.
But looking at the spates of remakes coming at the box office i wonder whether the story writers would losing their jobs!

he whole movie is inspired by the old movie except the twist in the end and couple of other things. But then the old movie had glaring holes in the plot as well. Its not a movie for those who re too nostalgic n obsessed with amitabh. The movie as a whole is very stylish. Shahrukh Khan was better as the Don but he wasnt as convincing as Bihari Vijay well, it looked bit artificial.But then considering the plot, it was kinda meant to bw that way.
Anewez desi audiences are not really ready for remakes........

i saw on the same day of releasing but i think that the old don was better than this
