What do your use to slice onions? a slicer or knife?

slicer - an imagae of onion slicer.

I'm using a slicer these days, but i feel they aren't perfect as being sliced by hand!!

lol i use a kid! no seriously, my teenaged daughter or my hubby slice my onions and they use a knife :-D

I use knife to slice onions as i find it convenient and i am good at it. LOL. Besides it is easy to wash the knife.

I use a knife for everything - I'm avoiding buying kitchen stuff because I have a very small kitchen, so I've stuck to the basics. A knife is easier to wash, anyway.

to make cooking less cocmplicated i use knife in slicing everything...from onions & garlic to other vegetables or just giving it a wash that i can cut meat also.

If I have to slice an onion, I usually use my favorite vegetable knife. However, if I am cutting onion for meat sauce etc., I prefer to use those electric cutters or mixers.

Hey, When I need to use onions, Firstly I peel, wash and squeeze them good in running water, and when I chop them up I dont get the watery stingy eyes, I choose to chop them with a knife... I know the first part doesnt answer your question, i just like to give worth while responses lol...
