What do your use to slice onions? a slicer or knife?

I use a knife for everything - I'm avoiding buying kitchen stuff because I have a very small kitchen, so I've stuck to the basics.
A knife is easier to wash, anyway.

to make cooking less cocmplicated i use knife in slicing everything...from onions & garlic to other vegetables or just giving it a wash that i can cut meat also.

Hey, When I need to use onions, Firstly I peel, wash and squeeze them good in running water, and when I chop them up I dont get the watery stingy eyes, I choose to chop them with a knife... I know the first part doesnt answer your question, i just like to give worth while responses lol...
