Were you the quiet kind?
Were you the annoying kind?
Were you the crying kind?
Were you the kind that asked a lot of questions?
Were you the curious kind?
Were you the meek kind?
Were you the naughty kind?
Were you the kind that got into trouble all the time, even though it was never your fault?
Were you the kind that ate bugs?
Were you the kind that was afraid of bugs?
Were you the kind that was always afraid?
Were the kind that wanted to try anything and everything?
Me, I guess you all know now that I was the curious, annoying kind that asked a lot of questions, that are every grown up's nightmare.
So what kind of kid were you? Are you still the same? Or are you so old that you don't even remember, haha?

I think I kinda transformed a lot during my childhood years. Until I was 4 I was really well behaved, and after that I became very bratty. I always wanted more attention on me. After that I was more of the mean and blunt kinda kid. Basically, you would just call me a brat! That was me! Haha.. But I think things changed once I became older. I kinda mellowed. My sister who was the real quiet one as a kid, turned out to be the nagging and very talkative type.. LOL~! Just goes to show that people do change.. :D

Yeah, I think you can say that. I wouldn't really say that it happened straightaway after my sis came along. I think it happened more around the time that she was already able to talk and walk and stuff. So yeah, when she grew a bit bigger, I think that's when I turned into a brat.. LOL.. =P

I do it all the time too. And if I don't get a answer, I usually don't go forward with whatever they want me to do.

my mother used to tell me that i was a very quiet kid and i seldom cried. she also said that almost everybody who saw me was delighted because of my tantalizing eyes. that was everybody's remarks, they were fascinated by my eyes. from what my other siblings were telling me that i was a very helpful kid, too.i helped my family in some household chores.
likewise, i was the kind of kid who was easily persuaded to go with anyone who invited me. but my mom warned me not to do it again because i might not be able to return to them anymore in other words, i might be abducted. that was one lesson i learned from mom not to entertain any stranger's invitation or offers.

From what my mother described, I was a curious kid. I would ask many questions till my parents got tired of answering or didn't know how to answer. But they said that I was a very good and responsible kid at the same time, I wouldn't run around places and I would behave when in public, therefore that's why my dad was bringing me everywhere when he went out. I also didn't need them to worry about my studies. I would finish the homework within an hour or two after getting off school before watching TV and I know that they were so proud of me about that. Now I would say I am still responsible but I am surely less interested about the world *laughs*.

Hey I was actually a very well behaved kid too, only I was a little annoying with all my questions and I wanted to try everything, like one time we were at the beach and the grown ups wanted to go in the deep part of the sea, and I insisted on going with them, and eventually did too. I didn't throw any tantrums when I was a kid but I could be persistent, I guess nothing's changed since.

Well, yeah, persistence is good, but like you I tend to get bored of things easily too...
I'm generally lazy, and never really do much, but if it's something I like then I put my all into it.. I believe that if you do something you should give it your all or don't do it at all..

*laughs* I think being persistent is good! It's a good virtue and it really leads to success in life. I think I am not really persistent because I never insist on doing things. And I tend to get bored with things easily *smiles*, I guess I change my mind too often and I don't think this has changed even though I have grown up.

Growing up in a house in the woods with no dad, I ran wild, building shelters and sleeping out in the woods, dug tunnels and came home filthy, asked endless questions, always in trouble, hated school, which seemed like a prison.

Where you in the town or city growing up then? It seems awful to me that kids grow up not in the country but I suppose being kids they find stuff to do anywhere.

Well I grew up in a townish area... Well, Bahrain is really a very small country... it's like the smaller than most of the major cities..but I had my fair share of adventure too. You know there is always a haunted house in every neighborhood...so I had fun with that..

I was an extremely shy and quiet child when I was at school or around anyone I didn't know but was loud around my friends and family . I wasn't a child to cry or ask a lot of questions as I kept more to myself whenever possible . I was curious and my friends and I spent a lot of time exploring in the woods or looking for caves down by the water . I was terrified of bugs and didn't want to be around them if at all possible , don't like any creepy crawly creatures . I often had nightmares at night and was a very argumentitive child with others that disagreed with me . I was a very strubborn child when I set my mind to something .
I am pretty much the same as an adult although I am not as shy or quiet as I was and I am not as argumentitive or stubborn anymore but for the most part , I haven't changed in a lot of ways . I have changed what I believe in and see things more clear now then as a child but am still very much the same when things go wrong .

I used to be one of the naughty kids.haha. My parents had a tough when i was young and thats what i've been told.
I wish i had started one of those fight clubs when i was young.lol
The naughtiness has faded away as i've grown up and thats actually sad and good in a way too.I'm more refined cuz a gentleman ought to be.So we change for good i guess. But the habit of snapping often hasn't faded away though.

I asked a lot of questions when I was really little. The way my family described me was that I was quiet until I warmed up and then there was no shutting me up. They also used to make me wear a shirt a lot of the time tha saud, "Double Trouble". Hmn. I wonder why?

I was definitely the quiet kid. My parents used to double check every time they hustled us 5 kids in the car. They were scared they had left me behind. I was THAT quiet. Also, during dinner time, if i wanted something to be passed to me, i'd whisper in my mom's ear. She used to get soooo annoyed because it was just us family. I just never really felt the need to talk.
Things have changed now.. my mom has commented to me recently, "where has my quiet little girl gone??".. i tell her i'm making up for lost time. I am THAT talkative. LOL!

quiet and smart in school, loud and curious in school brakes. out of the school i was the kid that alway got into trouble. at home i was the annoying kid 1000000 and 1 question asked to the parents.
Well i am similar now. i am the loud "kid" at college who is not afraid to ask questions and speak her mind, am the curious one. i am less annoying because i have run out of questions. and i do not get into trouble as much.

For many years I was the one who "didn't live up to her potential" and I still probably do not. I was geeky, and socially misfit, and I felt homely, and shy. Often I was spacey, and not really "present" in class. I was usually friends with the other misfits and outcasts. I was so scared of getting in trouble I was quiet as a mouse. I am not so scared, anymore.

I was a happy, gregarious kid with loss of friends. I had an independent streak the size of Denver.

HI vega83! I am the quiet kid but always get into trouble too. I guess, I am naughty because I get scolded often times. I get curious all the time and try to find answers on my own...I played detective like "Nancy Drew" all the time. Have a nice day and take care!
