I like to go for a walk on the beach or read a good book, this helps me clear my mind, breathing in the fresh sea air, and feeling how relaxed one can feel while strolling along the waters edge, so tranquil and rejuvenating... What do you do?, to get that relaxing, quiet time, we all need and hardly have time to experience? What do you do for peace of and quiet? or just too have that little time out to yourself? Share your views, Id love to read them all... Thanks in advance to all...

This is something so easy to overlook but is really quite important if we are to live long and productive lives.
More often than not, we are preoccupied with so many mundane things and not mind the spiritual. Not all people believe this but we are made up of body and soul. We pay particular notice to our bodies like nourishing it with healthy foods, doing exercises to maintain the tone of the muscles, and going to the spa to beautify it.
But going to Church and attending services, we sometimes even think of it as an obligation and not as a duty. This is one way to have peace, a quite time for ourselves.
Personally, I try to meditate wherever and whenever I find myself alone, be it at home or in the office, just as long as it is convenient to do so. Otherwise I try to schedule it someplace where I can really be alone.

I am the type of person who likes to be alone. However, with the career I have chosen, and two daughters at home, this does not happen very often! When I do manage to be alone, I usually walk over to the waterfront. find my favourite bench and just sit there, stare at the water and think. This is how I get my peace and quiet. :)
cheers,
